George Anagnostopoulos was born in Athens in 1972. He began his musical studies in 1997 in the CENTRE of MUSICAL EDUCATION in the Kallithea with traditional percussions and Eastern Music rhythmology with Stefanos Agjopoulos. He continued his lessons with Nikos Karatzas in rhythmical solfez and in tampouro, Afro - latin percussions as well as multi - percussion set, and with Vangelis Karipis in traditionall percussions. At the same time he had Seminars from leading percussionists as Bijan Chemirani, Zohar Fresco, Misirli Ahmet e. t. c. From 2002 he works as a teacher of traditional percussions in Conservatoires and Cultural Associations. He has participated in events of Municipalities and he has given concerts with orchestras and musical ensembles of Greek Traditional music. He has collaborated with Nikos Saragoudas and he is a founding member of Al Mahaba (2002).
