Manos Epitropakis was born in 1973. He began his musical studies with cello at the Kavala Municipality Conservatoire at the age of 10. He lives in Athens from 1989. He graduated from the Modern Conservatoire of Athens under the supervision of Marina Kislitsina. He also studied economic science at the Athens University of Economics and Business. He had chamber music master classes and he is member of baroque and classical ensembles (Athens Baroque Collegium, The Young Artist Quartet) with which he often gives concerts in various concert halls of Athens and in Greek cities. He collaborates with soprano Jeni Drivala in concerts and festivals. The last 3 years he studies the musical tradition of Middle East performing with musical ensembles and interpreting music from the Arabic world, Persia and Turkey. He is a member of "Labyrinth ", a music workshop of Ross Daly with which they give a lot of concerts in Greece and abroad. He is a member of Athens Municipality Symphonic Orchestra from 1999.
